The FlowTech SS150 single cartridge severe service design filter housing is the ideal housing for those applications where rough handling or severe environmental conditions warrant a durable, heavy duty design. The closure of the filter vessel is accomplished by the use of 4 heavy-duty swing bolts and the seal is provided by a large cross-section O-ring mating with a heavy duty machined seal ring.The SS150 Severe Service filter housing is widely used in the pharmaceutical, process chemical and food/beverage industries and is well suited for liquid and gas application where low pressure drop, minimum product hold-up and unexcelled cleanability are important considerations. The SS150 filter housing can be provided with corrosion allowances where required. Standard material is 316L stainless with many other alloys available.
